Successful premiere: A Franco-German Science Circle Lecture was held for the first time in New Delhi on 20th February 2019. The event was jointly organized by the German and French Embassies.

Prof. Dr. Vincent Heuveline from the University of Heidelberg gave a lecture on “Data Science and High Performance Computing”. Prof. Heuveline, a French scientist who studied in Germany and France and works in Germany, is an excellent figurehead for Franco-German relations.
The event took place on the premises of the Alliance Française New Delhi. The German Centre for Research and Innovation (DWIH) New Delhi was also involved in the preparation. Various Franco-German cultural and scientific projects are planned throughout India for 2019.
