Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart visits India
The Minister for Economics, Innovation, Digitalisation and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart, is visiting India from 4–8 February 2019 along with a 25-member Delegation.

the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart, is visiting India from 4–8 February 2019 along with a 25-member delegation.
He will visit Delhi, Kolkata and Bengaluru. North Rhine-Westphalia is

Germany's most populous federal state and an important region of trade and industry. Dr. Pinkwart sees enormous potential for growth in India and is seeking closer cooperation in the areas of energy, information technology and mechanical engineering.

While in Delhi, he held talks with the Minister of State for Power & New & Renewable Energy R.K. Singh and the Minister of State for Commerce and Industry C.R. Chaudhary. He also held meetings with leading companies and, together with the CEO of Steag, inaugurated a photovoltaic project at the India Habitat Center.

On the invitation of the Chargè d’affaires of the German Embassy, Dr. Jasper Wieck, Minister Pinkwart and his delegation met with high-ranking representatives of Indian ministries, business, development cooperation, academia and media representatives at a reception at the German Ambassador Dr Martin Ney's residence under the motto “NRW goes to India”.
