There is a lot to look forward to, at German Days in Mumbai 2.0.. “People always talk about the German direct investments in India. However, one fact we tend to overlook, is the upward trend of increasing direct investments of Indian companies in Germany. On October 12th, the IGCC and the Consulate hope to acknowledge these Indian companies at the Investor Conference*, where German Investment Agencies and Trade Fair Organizations (Messe) will get an opportunity to present themselves, and Ernst and Young will release an updated version of the study, ‘Indian Investments in Germany’,” said Mr. Peter Deubet, Deputy Director General, Indo-German Chamber of Commerce.

German Days in Mumbai 2.0 will provide a great opportunity for students and professionals looking to study and work in Germany. On October 13th, DAAD (Deutsche Akademischer Austauschdienst/ German Academic Exchange Service) will provide an overview on ‘Education in Germany.’ At this informative session, students and work aspirants will also be able to meet representatives of German educational institutions and professional qualification certification bodies: Get answers to all your queries, at one go!

With an aim to level the pla ying field, German Days in Mumbai 2.0 will have a special workshop on ‘Indo-German Football Cooperation : Exploring opportunities to empower women through football’ on Sunday, October 14th. Football coaches, club representatives, and representatives of government institutions and non-profit foundations, will share perspectives on ways to encourage and support female talent, organize a safe environment for women, and discuss how this initiative of empowering women through sport will eventually benefit the society.

Experiencing German Days in Mumbai 2.0, will be incomplete without a dash of German engineering experience! For auto and car lovers, Audi India will host the annual Audi weekender driving experience, on October 13th and 14th.

At the magical Mumbai Oktoberfest, on the evenings of October 12th, 13th and 14th, you can surrender to the call of the best German beer, delicious German and international cuisine, and foot-tapping music by ‘Die Kirchdorfer’, an original Oktoberfest band flown in from Germany!
Whether you want to network with top Indo-German business representatives, get to know Germany better, or just let your hair down and party in true German style, German Days in Mumbai 2.0 is where you should be.
