The Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Chennai plans to celebrate the German National Day 2022 (Day of German Unity) in person, subject to the course of COVID-19 pandemic. On 10 October, some 400 high-ranking guests from politics, business, the academia, culture and society will gather in a reception in Chennai to renew our long-standing contacts and celebrate new beginnings after more than two years of the pandemic. At the same time, the Consulate General would like to use this occasion to highlight Indo-German commitment to the global sustainability agenda with a focus on clean energy and digitization.
