Going to Germany?
If you wish to stay in Germany for more than 90 days, please apply for a German National visa. National visa are sometimes also referred to as 'long-term visa' or 'D visa'.
If you wish to stay in Germany for up to 90 days, please apply for a Schengen visa. Schengen visas are sometimes also referred to as “short-term visas” or “C visas”.
