Prospective skilled workers who have already reached the age of 45 or will have reached this age by the time they apply for the residence title to take up employment in Germany must be informed in writing about the requirements of Section 18 (2) No. 5 AufenthG.

I hereby declare that the mission has informed me about the following: According to Section 18 (2) No. 5 AufenthG I will need to provide either a minimum salary of 55% of the annual contribution assessment ceiling for general pension insurance or proof of adequate pension provision to the Immigration Office if I have reached the age of 45 by the time I apply for the residence title.

This requirement applies exclusively to the first issue of a residence title in accordance with Sections 18a and 18b (1) AufenthG. This declaration will be attached to my visa application under the above-mentioned barcode. I have received a copy of the same for my perusal.
