Inauguration of the JIS Bosch Rexroth Centre of Excellence at the Narula Institute of Technology

As guest of honour, Consul General Dr. Feiner participated at the launch of the state-of-the-art laboratory for engineering students at the Narula Institute of Technology, JIS Group, in Agarpara, Kolkata. The lab will enable students to gain practical experience in the field of hydraulics and pneumatics, using real life equipment provided by a leader in the field, the German Bosch Rexroth group. Bosch Rexroth supplies such equipment for research and training purposes to universities, research institutions, industry and vocational schools across the world.
In his address, Dr. Feiner highlighted the importance of practical and skills training, also referring to the successful German dual vocational education and training (dual VET) scheme, and informed the student audience about study and research opportunities in Germany.
