#MyIndiaGermanyStory Contest – Terms & Conditions

• The contest runs from 3 November 2026 to 23 November 2026, 23:59 IST. Entries posted after this time will not be considered.

• Staff of German missions in India are not eligible. Participants under 18 need the consent of a parent or guardian.

• To enter, participants must follow @GermanyinMumbai on Instagram, post an original photo or video on Instagram telling us what “75 years of India-Germany relations” means to them, tag @GermanyinMumbai and use the hashtags #MyIndiaGermanyStory and #IndiaGermany75. Accounts must be public for entries to be seen.

• Each entry must be the participant’s own work and must not infringe the rights of others. Offensive or inappropriate content will be disqualified.

• Winners will be selected by a jury at the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Mumbai. The jury’s decision is final.

• Winners will be announced on 26 November 2026 and contacted via Instagram direct message. Winners who do not respond within 3 days may be replaced. The Consulate General will never ask for payment or bank details.

• Prizes: Grand Prize, an online German language course at Goethe-Institut worth Rs 30,000. 2nd and 3rd Prizes, original Germany national football team jerseys. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.

• By entering, participants agree that the Consulate General may share their entry, with credit, on its social media channels.

• The Consulate General reserves the right to amend or cancel the contest.

• This contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram.
