The Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Mumbai is looking for a Security Guard starting from 15th October 2026.

The position is full-time (40 hours per week) and is initially offered for a fixed term of one year, with the possibility of extension.

According to the Consulate General’s current salary scheme, the monthly salary is INR 37,400, plus transport and housing allowances. Depending on relevant professional experience, a higher starting salary may be granted.

- further support at other positions as indicated by German Police personnel

Candidate Profile
The successful candidate must have:
- Secondary School Certificate or equivalent (completion of 10th standard)
- physical fitness and capability
- a very good command of English and Hindi (written and spoken)
- knowledge of Marathi and/or German is preferable
- good oral and written communication skills
- security and technical knowledge are preferable
- ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- ability to work trustfully and effectively within a team
- service-oriented behavior, reliability, accuracy and impeccable appearance
- willingness to participate in security related training courses
