We have updated the approved list of Indian travel insurance companies offering travel medical insurance for the Schengen visa process.

Please note that this also applies to national visa applications: If a travel health insurance is not already included in the compulsory health insurance (employment category), a separate travel health insurance has to be presented for the time-frame from arrival in Germany until the beginning of employment.

Please be aware: Other health insurances are currently not accepted and if submitted, could lead to a rejection of your visa.
