National Visa - Students' increased living cost requirement

Information regarding monthly financial requirements for students living independently and are insured under the new minimum rates for statutory health insurance and long-term care insurance.

The following group of applicants is affected by this update:
- All Visa Applicants

With effect from Thursday, 26.09.2024, all visa fees (for Schengen and National visas) will change.

The Schengen visa fee for adults will change to 8.400 INR; the Schengen visa fee for minors will change to 4.200 INR.

The national visa fee for adults will change to 7.000 INR; the national visa fee for minors will change to 3.500 INR.


Note: This concerns all visa applications with appointment date on or after 26.09.2024 across all VFS locations in India.
