Since July, the Consulate has seen a significant increase in registrations for appointments in the student visa category. Although we have allocated most of our slots to student categories for the coming months, there continues to be a long waiting list. We understand that the current situation causes distress for many applicants.

We’re trying our best to cope up with the enormous demand for student visa appointments. To ensure a fair and transparent procedure for everyone, all registrations will receive an appointment in chronological order once we are able to open additional appointments in the respective category.

Please note: Only medical emergencies or very specific individual circumstances qualify for “special appointments” or rescheduling of appointments. The upcoming winter semester is not a valid reason for granting a special appointment. Kindly refrain from sending emails regarding special appointments, as this only ties up our capacity and leads to longer processing times for everyone.
