Schengen Visa - New Checklists Available
The following group of applicants is affected by this update:
- All Schengen Visa Applicants

1. In order to further streamline the Schengen visa application process, we have updated our Checklists. Please submit your documents for a Schengen visa as per the relevant new Checklist.
One of the most important changes is: For Business applications: If the inviting company is arranging for your accommodation, they should confirm the same in their invitation letter, and the applicant may leave out furhter proof of accommodation.

2. We have also restructured the format of sponsor and applicant financial documentation. Kindly check the new requirements.

3. Please keep in mind that the processing time for Schengen visa starts only once the application reaches the Consulate. This might take up to SIX working days depending on the delivery conditions and public holidays.
If your travel date is imminent or lies within two weeks of your application date,it would be advisable to re-schedule your trip. We cannot guarantee a last-minute issuance of any visa!
